Privacy policy

This section describes the privacy policy of the Matrìca website vis-à-vis the processing of the personal details of those who supply said details to Matrìca S.p.A.
This information is provided in accordance with the terms of Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree N° 196/2003 to those who interact with the internet website.
The information supplied here is based on Recommendation N°. 2/2001, which the European authorities responsible for the protection of personal data (through the group established by Article 39 of Directive N°. 95/46/CE) adopted on May 17, 2001, in order to define the minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online and, in particular, the methods, timescales and nature of the information that the party responsible for the processing operations (the 'Data Manager') must provide to users (or 'Data Subjects') whenever those users browse a given website, regardless of the reasons for which the users may be browsing said website.
This information is provided exclusively in relation to the Matrìca website and does not apply to other linked websites.

Processing method

The details you supply to Matrìca S.p.A. are processed using (in the main) automated systems, exclusively for the stated purposes and only for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the details have been collected.

Rights of the data subject

The data subjects to whom the personal details in the possession of Matrìca S.p.A. refer have the right to request, at any time, confirmation of whether or not the details in question are being held. They also have the right to be informed as to the origin of the details, to verify their accuracy and to request their updating, correction or completion (in accordance with the terms of Article 7 of Italian Legislative Decree N° 196/2003). As per the terms of the aforementioned article, the data subjects are also entitled to request: that the details be cancelled; that the details be made anonymous; and that access be blocked to any of their details that have been processed illegitimately. In addition, they can oppose the processing of their details for legimitate reasons.
All such requests should be sent to the Data Manager.

Type of details processed

Browsing data The IT systems and software procedures used to make this website work may acquire, in the course of their normal functionality, certain personal details. The transmission of these details is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.
These details are not recorded with a view to associating them with the data subjects in question, but - due to their very nature - through their processing and cross-referencing with data held by third parties, they could allow the individuals in question to be identified.
This category of details includes the IP addresses and/or domain names of the computers utilised by the user to connect to the website, the URIs of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the data response given by the server (successful completion, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment.
These details are used for the sole purpose of compiling anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to verify that it is functioning correctly. The details could be used to ascertain responsibility in cases of IT crimes causing damage to the website.
Details supplied voluntarily by the user The optional, explicit or voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses stated on this website involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, which is required in order to respond to the request, as well as any other personal details included in the message.
